Guest Mode Overview

Guest Mode allows users to view policy statistics without requiring authentication.
In this mode, users can see an overview of the total number of policies, active and inactive policies,
as well as a pie chart representing these statistics.

The pie chart below provides a visual representation of policy distribution in the system.
It categorizes policies into active and inactive, making it easier to analyze policy status at a glance.

Guest users cannot access detailed policy information, create new policies, or modify existing ones.
If additional actions are required, users must log in.

Statistics

The homepage displays:

  • Total policies
  • Active policies
  • Inactive policies
  • A pie chart visualizing the statistics.

Available Actions

The guest user has the following options:

  • Login: Available in two places – in the bottom left corner of the screen and at the top right of the navigation bar.
  • Dark/Light Mode: A switch button allows users to toggle between light and dark themes.
  • Sidebar Toggle: Expands or collapses the sidebar for better navigation.

Creating a Policy as a Guest

Guest users do not have permission to create a new policy. If a guest attempts to create a policy, they receive the following notification:

To create a policy, the user must log in using one of the available login buttons.

Error Page (404)

If a guest navigates to a non-existent URL, they are redirected to a 404 error page, informing them that the requested page does not exist.

Logging In

When a guest user clicks the Login button (as shown in the figure Guest Mode Homepage), they are redirected to the Keycloak authentication page, where they can enter their credentials to access the full features of the application.
