Computational Resources

This section provided the computational resources and how to run in the ICOS Testbed.

How to run

In order to on-board and edge device in the ICOS Continuum instance running in the ICOS Testbed the step to follow are:

  1. Prepare the edge infrastructure by installing Kubernetes or Docker.

  2. Deploy one of the supported ICOS orchestrators (OCM/Nuvla). Here it is possible to choose between two technologies

  3. Deploy the ICOS Telemetry component.

  4. Verify that telemetry data from the edge is reaching the ICOS Controller.

Wazuh Agent

ICOS currently supports two different orchestrators: OCM or Nuvla.In the ICOS testbed we provide both of them. It is up to the single project to choose the best orchestrator for her use cases. Please note that while both OCM and Nuvla can work with Kubernetes, only Nuvla supports Docker. Another computational resources prepared is Wazuh Agent:Wazuh Agent
